Looking for the great poets and their poetry I visit the bookstores and coffee houses, libraries and the Internet and I look and I read and I read and I scan many books.
Let me tell you the tale of Chaucer and me. The thought of meeting a man who is called the father of English poetry, a man who lived at a time when English as such did not exist, meeting a man who used to work for the government and who had been successfully translating Italian and French prose and poetry in deed created an excitement level which has stayed with me throughout the years.
