America the beautiful America the brave

We will continue to hold our heads up high

Our country will not cave or crumble as we take the time to grieve

America is mighty strong

And this you better believe

We have been wounded this is true

But we will take a stand

And watch when it rains victory for our fallen countrymen

Today we will hold our banner high because we believe in you

We will bind together everyone to see our country through

Today our hearts are broken but we won’t run and hide

We will raise our flag with grace

And hold it up with pride

And when the pain has passed and the memories linger on

We will bring the terrorists that did our country wrong to their knees

But now is a time for unity, compassion, concern, and prayer

Let’s pull together as we grieve a catastrophe hard to bear

And to the families who suffered a loss, your country grieves with you
